Had my dad and stepmom over for dinner tonight and my dad discovered that I have a chimney hidden in my walls!! Very very excited about this as a fireplace is one thing I wish my house had. Another project to add to the list... it'll be way down the line, but I'll eventually open that up for a fireplace or wood burning stove.

And btw I was at Nichols today and they also carry Pastabilities hot tomato oil, so I of course had to buy some

I have a friend visiting this weekend, too bad she just missed Winterfest. Anyone know if there's anything going on? We're looking for something to do on Saturday (daytime) - We've got Fri and Sat nights covered

Thanks for the suggestions.

She said she would be interested in checking out Lake Ontario, but I'd imagine the weather right now wouldn't make it a good time. Not sure if there's anything really exciting to check out in Oswego or not. Perhaps we can try Old Forge. My parents won't be up this weekend so don't have them to entertain us lol. Or maybe something closer to home... Skaneateles? We're not looking to spend alot of (or any) money really. We could always just hang out downtown, but I'd prefer to try to find something unique for her
