Luckily, this will end soon. I wouldn't be surprised if much of it melts later today.

Youngest daughter is headed to myrtle beach this week to spread my weath around.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this as SC isn't that far south and sometimes April is starting to see NY less cold.

But 19 degrees right now and everything but Walmart parking lot covered in snow I guess once again the kid out smarts the old man.

How do you say April in Upstate NY with one picture??

Side note the car is a 1998. Extremely rare to see a car that old in NY. Says alot about Suburus which I generally can't stand.Been searching the Tampa CL's for a car for the kid and 91 Toyotas look like new cars.

Reason #30017 not to attempt a hot tub install during a NY winter.

Got the call my tub is finally here and install will be here today.

So like an idiot I turn the outside water on and get the hoses out. Test fire and all is 100%.

Temps fall to 20 over night. Hose is all froze solid. Hot water doesn't help. I guess it's off to Lowes to buy all new.

Or just wait until June like any normal person would have done. Am I seriously the only one stupid enough to think it was spring?? I guess the 50 bucks for the new hose is a stupid tax.

It doesn't mean anything right now. If you read the article, you'll see that that a bunch of airports are challenging the decision to close towers. They're delaying closures because they want to resolve those issues. Who knows what will happen during the delay timeframe, so just have to wait and see

They're closing quite a few towers here in NC too, from what I hear. Not a good thing, IMO.

Saw plane landing on a grass runway yesterday at an airfield in rural Angier. Didn't know those even existed, thought they were all asphalt until now. Learned something new about smaller airfields..

There are grass runways all over the place! I've never had the pleasure of landing on one.
