Worth noting all soft serve is not the same. Fat content determines quality.

The basics would be

2.5%-yuck. More comman then it should be.

5%-pretty normal. Good. Not great.

10%-the good stuff. I'm guessing this is what he's used to.

16%-the real good stuff. I only know of one place to get this and sadly it's not around here.

There are also others. I'm a hard ice cream purist but good soft is a joy.

Damn now I want some Blue Bell. BB is compatible to, but better then, Ben and Jerry's but sold in half gallons for a quarter of the price and in many more flavors.

Love me some Blue Bell. Unfortunately, the closest their distribution gets to NYS is Virginia...

Edy's / Breyer's can no longer call most of their products ice cream. They now have to call it frozen dairy dessert.

This website is awesome and it exposes the games companies play with packaging and the products themselves. Our food supply is a disaster and the more rules they try to place on these companies, the more loopholes they find.

Then, you have this: CNYcentral.com - Latest local news, weather and sports for Syracuse and Central New York

So, hopefully rates will go down and that will increase the use of the airport as a travel option.

For me price was a factor choosing Allegiant but it's not a massive saving.

The non stop flight part?? Priceless.

2:17 flight home. In a way I miss the drive cause I like to go through the Low Country of SC and Georgia but for time on the ground in Florida I love Allegiant.
