That has always been my mentality about the Syracuse area. Anyone that says there's nothing to do has nothing to do by their own fault. Have fun at all the festivals!!!

Interesting thing to say.

I'm working all weekend so it doesn't matter to me but what if someone doesn't like these fests??

I've never been to one and likely never will so have no opinion on them.

Mixed feelings on undercoating myself. When I buy new I get it but never have a good feeling about it. With the ammount of salt they dump on the roads nothing seems to make much differance.

New cars have warranties. I bought my wife's car used. It's a 2010. I think I saved maybe 10% over new. It's getting to the age where things are gonna start breaking. Over the period in question I think I would have saved money buying new.

That was in 2012. New would have had a 7 year warrenty. So in 2019 I would have had a semi decent looking car and little to no money in repairs.

As it worked out I'll have a rusted out hulk with the possibily of major repairs.

My little voice is telling me I chose unwisely. We shall see.

I agree, as there are all kinds of events going on that could appeal to anyone.

This reminds me of the thread about catalog homes on here a few years back: House of the Week: Restored Victorian 'catalog home' in Syracuse | syracuse.com

and: NYS Fair named a top American fair by Yahoo! Travel | syracuse.com

Blown Away, with a concept booming in bigger markets, opens in Armory Square | syracuse.com

Garage sales are heating up. I am on the hunt for summer clothes for the boys and book shelves.

Anyone having Tick problems?????? Here we go, I despise them. My oldest is on antibotics right now. I think I should really research having chickens and just how much work goes into them. My bats are taking care of the mosquitoes but the ticks...
UGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here in the city we are not having tick problems but my sister in law 15 miles away has been having a lot of trouble with them.

We hit a bunch of garage sales last weekend. With another grand kid on the way we scored a crapload of baby stuff. Never anything good for me though. I hear about the Dewalt router for 25 bucks stuff but all I find are lawn jarts.
