I went to Taste of Syracuse. The dollar samplers were good ... but much smaller than they used to be.

Got one heck of a sun burn too ... on my neck and foot.

For anyone that's interested, United has cheap fares this Fall for Syracuse to Seattle. I'm seeing round trip fares for $264 using the flexible travel selection.

Is this a trial run or is this something that could be permanent, but generally at a little bit higher rate?

No clue. I follow a travel forum where people post deals they find, so someone had posted this and I figured I'd share

The good thing about Syracuse's public transit being practically nonexistent? You don't have to worry about the workers going on strike. The rail workers here in Philly went on strike last night. I take the train every. single. day. I'm so screwed right now.

Do you have other public transportation options or is driving the only other option?
