very good point!...it needs to have a balanced view of the area. It also has to be funny for people to stay tuned.

The big news down here is that the NBC re-make of "Charilie's Angels" was cancelled after four episodes. C.A. is not a a sitcom, but the new show was based on Miami. If the show is based on a "Rosanne" or "All in the Family" format, it better be good. If not, it won't matter what City or area it is based in.

I would hate to see Syracuse's first sitcom bomb, but...remember, it is the writers, directors, producers, actors, etc who make the show, it would NOT be Syracuse's fault if it did. Or, a reflection on Syracuse. Who ever thought that "The Office" would be such a HIT in Scranton...they had good talent behind the show.

It's all about the writing followed by the acting. I hope that the actual scripts will have more room for comic exploration than the synopsis. I got sleep halfway through it and it was only a few paragraphs in length.

- Upstate Sitcom

I found the web-site to "Upstate", explains about the show (characters, pilot script), producers, investing, faq, contact info., etc. It seems like a promotion to get interest in the show.

Quote from "Upstate" character John Michael: “Syracuse has to be paradise. It gets too cold to be hell.” Seems like the character "Kitty" is a trip.
