Hi, we are a military family of 5 moving into the area this summer. I'm having a REALLY hard time finding a rental in the area that has more than 2 bedrooms. We need at least 3 bedrooms, 4 would be ideal. No less than 2 baths. Would love a townhouse, but a rental home would be ok too. The hard part also is that we have a cat and small dog. My husband will be attending Syracuse University, so being with 30 minutes of the school would be a must. I know the area is mostly students, and I can't find the family areas. I would so appreciate some guidance on any known townhouses/rentals. I'm a little scared of Craiglists since I've heard so many bad stories involving it. We have a $1200 limit. Thanks!

Thanks, but I did already try all the basic rental site searches.....which is why I need help from locals. It seems like 3 bedrooms don't exist there!

Actually, the list should include apartment complexes that have 3 bedroom apartments. If not, there is a way to look up apartments to fit your criteria.

Eagles Pointe Town Homes allows pets and has 3BR units. I've been in them before, they are nice. Also have a friend living there with his family and they are happy with it. Actually a poster on here was going to be moving in there as well (don't know if he did yet or not).

Default Still need help

I still am in real need of a place. We move in July and still don't have a place lined up. It seems like everything I try is not available or doesn't allow pets. If anyone knows of something not generally advertised, a friend renting, etc. please let me know. I believe I have already tackled every major apartment complex in the area (well at least 32 of them). I don't care where it is located as long as it's safe for my kids and within 20 minutes of the University. Help please!

(Becca, I did try Eagles Point, it fits all my requirements, except she is not yet sure of an availability.....)

If you've already tried all of the complexes, I'd suggest trying Craigslist next
