Yeah I don't know either. But I now have 2 friends in my group from Minnesota that will definitely use this route. One of them is going back there Labor Day weekend, too bad it's just before this route starts.

Last time we flew from MDT to MSP, despite the presence of a non-stop their pricing forced us through Detroit anyway.

Gosh, 90 minutes. I'm envious - flying to Minneapolis tomorrow afternoon and it's going to take about five hours (changing planes at O'Hare).

My guess would be that the person who wrote that story did not account for the 1 hour time change in MSP. I think it is closer to 2.5 hours.
