If you want good Chinese, check out China Road in Mattydale. China Pavilion in Westvale Plaza is pretty good too.

Also, with you being from the Binghamton area, for a good spiedie, you may want to check out Uncle Chubby's. Defnitely a hole in the wall spot though. Two doors down is the good Second North Deli with homemade potato chips and good sandwiches.

China Pavillion is also the only place in town that has Dim Sum on Sunday mornings. Not traditional cart style, but it is better than no dim sum.

Welcome Inn in a horrible neighborhood and has weird hours, but it is a must have. http://www.communitysite.com/welcomeinn/

What is good at the Welcome Inn? It is another place I've heard good things about. I think it is more Ukrainian than Polish in flavor too.

I have to put that on my list. Eva's European Sweets has good pierogies too, but I want to check out Welcome Inn's out as well.

Another good place I like to get take out from, time to time, is NY Roast on Grant Boulevard. ************************* * NY Roast Restaurant** Syracuse NY - Home Pretty good spiedies there too.

Actually, that poster was the one that brought it up. Yikes!

Another place that I know some like is the Retreat in the village of Liverpool.

Yes but you have said that restaurant is good. She clearly knows more than you about that restaurant especially when she mentioned about not having the push carts. If you know anything about Dim Sum then you would have mentioned what she said.

This doesn't make any sense.
