Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor in the area that could likely get me in today? I did something to my back the other day and it's only gone downhill since Monday... now I can't even stand and am in some serious pain Don't know what else to do.
Hope you feel better soon. I was looking for a chiropractor a few weeks ago, but no one I knew had been to one. They are all over the map, so I didn't want to just pick one off Google. Thankfully whatever it was worked itself out. I am ready for a standing desk though.
My PCP was no help, just gave me Motrin 800s and called it a day. I had a whole debacle with them a few weeks ago and basically had to show up demanding a new script because what they had given me previously didn't work. Yes, I'm looking at switching. I just made a PT appointment for tomorrow, still can't walk
Becca: I had hurt my back a couple of years ago down here in Florida, I actually herniated a disc. Concerned that I would not have a chiropractor when I came up to Syracuse, I asked family and friends up there who I could visit should I need one and they recommended the following three chiropractors.
I hope all this helps, back pain or injuries are a real bummer to put it mildly! My chiropractor down here did such a great job, I never needed surgery and recovered nicely (which doesn't help you). I wanted someone reputable up there that would not screw things up. Run, if they want to adjust your back (crack your back), muscle stimulation and / or ultra sound sounds like what you need now.
Good luck!
