Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor in the area that could likely get me in today? I did something to my back the other day and it's only gone downhill since Monday... now I can't even stand and am in some serious pain Don't know what else to do.

I'm not sure about how good they are, but it looks like they take same day appointments: Syracuse Chiropractors, chiropractic services in 13224, Chiropractor in Syracuse NY, Dr James Walzer

Hope you feel better soon. I was looking for a chiropractor a few weeks ago, but no one I knew had been to one. They are all over the map, so I didn't want to just pick one off Google. Thankfully whatever it was worked itself out. I am ready for a standing desk though.

My PCP was no help, just gave me Motrin 800s and called it a day. I had a whole debacle with them a few weeks ago and basically had to show up demanding a new script because what they had given me previously didn't work. Yes, I'm looking at switching. I just made a PT appointment for tomorrow, still can't walk

Becca: I had hurt my back a couple of years ago down here in Florida, I actually herniated a disc. Concerned that I would not have a chiropractor when I came up to Syracuse, I asked family and friends up there who I could visit should I need one and they recommended the following three chiropractors.

Liverpool Chiropractic & Wellness (this one should be right by your house in the village)

Syracuse Chiropractor - Liverpool Chiropractor - Applied Kinesiology

Chiropractor in Liverpool, NY 13090 :: Family Chiropractic Prevention Center :: Dr Steven Klink (not crazy about these people)

I hope all this helps, back pain or injuries are a real bummer to put it mildly! My chiropractor down here did such a great job, I never needed surgery and recovered nicely (which doesn't help you). I wanted someone reputable up there that would not screw things up. Run, if they want to adjust your back (crack your back), muscle stimulation and / or ultra sound sounds like what you need now.

Good luck!
