It is close to some stores, banks and a park. It is just within the town of DeWitt, just east of the city.

Here's another complex that is also close to shopping just west of the city: Barrington Residential - Woodhaven Apartments - Syracuse, NY Apartments

This is another one you could look into and it is also close to shopping at Westvale Plaza and in Fairmount: Syracuse NY apartments in Westvale Community, near Solvay Schools - Heritage Height Apartments

I had a friend that lived there for a few years previously. Don't remember her saying much about it good or bad. Sorry, I'm not much help.
