He's been absent for almost a year now on the WSYR 570 morning show but the host that has been sitting in keeps saying he's "sitting in for Mark Wainwright". No word from WSYR and they still have his bio on their webpage.

I enjoyed listening to his show as he wasn't as far leaning right but more like Joe Galuski. The fill in host, not so much.

He was diagnosed with throat cancer, needed to be on chemo and radiation all last summer. Will be back on the show Monday morning at 6. Glad to hear he's okay and great news that he's coming back
