Hello, if anyone know of a good plumber and mover that they recently used that they would recommend to a friend/family member in the Syracuse area. Thank you.

Don't know about movers as I've always been stuck doing it myself with the help of friends. My parents had the few remaining galvanized pipes that supplied their upstairs bathroom replaced two years ago due to ongoing water pressure issues. They used this firm:

Cross Bros. Plumbing
4775 North St
Jamesville, NY 13078-9411
315-492-1998

I was impressed with the service. Very clean, fast, professional and the guy they sent to repair the plaster and lath wall and ceiling areas that had to be opened to get at the pipes did a stellar job. It's an old house and you literally can not tell where the repairs are - looks like the walls and ceiling were never touched.

As far as movers go...if you are talking local moves...I'd recommend this guy's company.

Mark Skloda Moving & Trucking
1016 Avery Ave
Syracuse, NY 13204
(315) 487-3057

Showed up on time, ready to go, professional, polite, and very hard working. Their rates include a 26' truck and they had the best rates available when we priced it. Very careful with the furniture and never complained about all the stairs we had to navigate. Very flexible in terms of them doing as much, or as little, as you'd like(i.e. I didn't want to pay them to assemble my beds, position furniture perfectly, etc....just wanted it moved to right room).
