I'm looking to move back home to NY. The Syracuse area. I have a job opportunity at an Insurance office on W. Seneca Turnpike. I really don't want to travel too far to work, but am looking for an apartment or townhouse with a small yard in a safe area. Not too expensive.
Need some suggestions please

I would recommend Greenwich Manor and Nob Hill which are across from each other on East Seneca Turnpike. One bedroom units start at $530 at Greenwich Manor and $590 at Nob Hill. Nob Hill is a much larger complex and has a pool and fitness center. Greenwich Manor is smaller but is on a more wooded lot. Both complexes are in close proximity to Interstates 81 and 481 and are less than 8 minutes to downtown. The neighborhood is considered safe and is populated with mixture of people including elderly residents, graduate students, young professionals, and single people of varying ages who have relocated to the area.

Welcome back!

The Meadows (http://http://morgancommunities.com/apartments/ApartmentDetail.aspx?ID=59&Name=The-Meadows - broken link) Try mapquesting the directions/time from there to your new employer's address and hopefully, that will work for you.

I agree with all of the suggestions made, as they are all close to the place of employment and are in safe areas.
