Android 2.2 aPad Vs Apple iPad (WiFi)

Any reviews, discussion on these? I have laid my money down and waiting for the courier to show up. Been burnt before and not holding my breath, but as an ebook reader and wifi surfer?

I have not done an in-person comparison, but have researched some of the aPads as such a device would be great for work and I refuse to buy anything made by Apple.

That said, most of the currently available aPADs are made by companies in China and, from the research I have done on the net, quality control is somewhat lacking. I'm waiting until the first wave of Android-based pads become available from more reputable companies next year before dropping any $$$.
