Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 - connectivty and news reporting

First let me say I'm an IPad user. I got an offer to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 at a discounted price to try it out ($149) and give a response from my point of view as a business traveller. I've give you a very basic non-business view. Apple devices (not Apple computers) win each time because they understand one thing: KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Android as a phone is fine. Android as a tablet is a waste. I've played with it since 10 am yesterday and it is not a Ipad killer. At any price its not worth the money compared to all the hype it was given. Its even a waste as remote for my Samung TV. The only good thing I can say about is its slim design and thats it. Save your money and buy an Ipad.

For the amount of time I'd use it (really negligible) and what I'd use it for - an iPad is total overkill.
I'm not looking for an "ipad killer". You could sell me yours though
