If you mean on the file, I believe you'd have to use iTunes to look at the file on the iPad. But there is probably a file explorer type app that will show that info as well. I've never found anything natively built into the device for this information.
Upload the pictures to a PC or Mac running Photoshop or GIMP or some other picture editing program or upload them to Flickr. You should be able to see the EXIF data (which includes date and time) encoded with the JPEG file then.
