ATT will give me one if I subscribe. Which way should I go? My wife has a Kindle reader, but I don't read a lot. I do like to surf the web.

I assume the HD is the 7 too?

Nexus. No comparison. Beats the Kindle HD in every. single. Way.

Nexus 7, UNLESS you plan on watching Amazon Prime videos on your tablet or reading Kindle Owners Lending Library ebooks on your tablet.

Those can only be done on the Fire.

The offer didn't state if the Kindle was the 7 version, I presumed it was. Thanks for the response. I will go with the Nexus.
