B&N Adding Google Services to Nook HD (play)

This is big news. Not something Amazon is ever going to do.
One of the major drawbacks of the Kindle and the Nook is that they restrict access to Google Services like Gmail and the Play Store.

Well, B&N just stepped up. This is a big deal and shows B&N is still committed to this brand.

and if that wasn't enough to sweeten the pot: Mother's Day sale this week. Both Nooks are discounted this week only.

Might be the time to get a Nook if you're thinking about it.

Yea, the Sony is still my #1 right now. I mean: WATERPROOF??? But this is a great deal on the Nook and with the addition of Google Play it soundly kicks the Kindles butt.
