You want to copy them from the iPad to the computer, right?
When you connect an iPad to a PC it should let you browse the iPad like a camera and you can get pics off of it that way. That's how the phone works anyway. It's a PITA. Go Apple.
No I want to be able to copy a picture from my IPad photos to a conversation on Facebook. I go to photos and press on the picture and copy comes up but it will not copy. Likewise if I go to the settings and hit copy. It just does not copy

Apple has a new app you have to use to copy photos. But in order to use it you have to register with a credit card and your social security number and buy a special proprietary cable.

I suspect the OP may not realize your post is not serious.

You can share iPad photos to Facebook using the iPad Facebook app.
Yeah, but you got to give Facebook app access to your photos on your iPad, something which I won't do.
