Thanks for correcting me; another question I have is is a Chromebook substantially superior to a typical laptop when looking for a sub-$300.00 device?

Also is there any difference in a laptop powered by an Intel processor vs. one powered by an AMD processor?

1 - That's like comparing a..... a falcon and a penguin. They are both birds but accomplish things in very different ways.

2 - AMD's are just as good as Intel except for the most powerful high end chips. AMDs are slightly cheaper.
