Biggest issue with 5.0.2 is the memory leak and the lag and constant refreshes that it causes, it's affecting both my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. Don't know why it's taking so long to get a fix pushed out.
Anyone else using Android's Lollipop OS on their tablets?

I usually JUMP on these updates when they come out. I just got a new phone (Droid Turbo) and am going to hold off on downloading this update until it's been out in the wild for awhile. I'm not the type that MUST have the latest update...just because it's the latest update.
Pet Peeve #254: When some Android fan boy is all:
"This phone sucks, they won't roll out Kit Kat for it!"
"Oh... what KK feature do you need?"
"ohhh... well.. I don't know... I just want KK!!!!!"
My phone runs GREAT on KK. The only update I ever HAD to have was Jelly Bean because it added Google Now Voice Interaction AND The Time Warner Cable app would not work on Ice Cream Sandwich. REAL reasons for wanting an update.

Now that I've tested it for several days, I am beginning to like it.
Speed of the new OS seems normal to me. I'm not noticing any lag on my Nexus 7 (2012).
I like the new "rolodex" way of viewing my recent apps. It's just a cool way of displaying these windows.
The various OS icons on the screen have changed quite a bit. I'm still getting used to the new ones.
The screen lock feature now requires you to slide a lock from the bottom to display the PIN entry.
It now lets you display notifications (with varying levels of information) on the locked screen.
The Settings screens look very different than in KitKat.
There are more advanced battery notifications.
And I read here at this review that Apps can now access MicroSD Cards for storage. This doesn't help me with my Nexus 7, since it doesn't have a MicroSD slot.
So I think think overall, I am happy with the Lollipop upgrade.
Also found some neat hidden features in Lollipop at this review page.
Google included their own Lollipop version of the game "Flappy Bird" hidden on the Settings Screen.
If only they wouldn't have gotten rid of the ability to mute the phone or turn it on vibrate only with the volume rocker.
Now it allows you to turn everything off (all sounds and vibrations), turn on priority notifications or turn on all. Rumor is they will bring back the old functionality of the volume rocker in an update very soon.
BECAUSE you got 5.0.2.
It WAS removed in 5.0 and returned in 5.0.1 because SO many complained.
Going by Mr Geeks post he seemed to indicate it hadn't been restored yet and was still pending in a future update. I never use it so I never knew it went missing, just checked to see if it worked.
How about using it and then letting us know what you think?
