So I have a laptop and a Nexus 7. I'd like an app that would beam my keyboard strokes to the Nexus 7. Some sorta toggle would be ideal.

Unsure what kind of app it would be, since my laptop isn't Android and the Nexus 7 is. It couldn't realistically be an Android app, I don't think. This is the conundrum. Thanks

What do you mean by "beam"? Are you wanting to wirelessly control your phone from your computer or do something else?

That's a hardware issue. Best Buy and Amazon sell keyboards you can use. Apps can't reconfigure hardware to do something it's not designed to do. If you decide you want to control the nexus from the PC you can use Vysor or some similar application.

Vysor sounds cool I found their official link and their main person

By the way I do currently use an external keyboard (Satechi) and it works well, but, it's huge and takes up so much space on my desk

VNC droid sounds like the opposite of what I'm looking for. Just sayin. But if it helps your life, great
