Hello, I'm moving to Tallahassee and I'm trying to get a handle on cable and internet prices. Is AT&T u-verse available? I'm looking at Comcast and what they charge for Internet is ridiculous.

my son lives in Tallahassee. I believe you have two choices when it comes to cable and internet. Comcast and Comcast.

Their prices are ridiculous!

You can use Satelite TV through Directv or Dish network.... And you can use CenturyTel for DSL for high speed internet.

century link advertises $15/mo DSL; not sure if you have to bundle that with anything, and its most likely DSL lite. But still a great deal.

I have a buddy who uses Century Link in Southwood. He gets speeds of 3kbs. Normal dsl imo. I use Comcast, pay for 16 and get 5.

I hope any current Comcast customer has a digital box or a digital receiver built into your television as Comcast is going all digital. Otherwise, you'll only receive channels 2-7. This only applies to basic and basic limited customers.
