Nice Move NJ! Tallahassee is a fantastic place to raise your children. We moved there from So. Fla. when the crime got really bad. Most of the people I know in Tallahassee had come to attend FSU and they never left. We left three times but always returned. I have not heard of Banyon Bay but there are numerous college oriented complexes around the universities. this might not be good whenyou have small kids. the NE is the most afluent part of town, and therefore the best schools and parks etc. Hope this helps!

Hi there,

Banyan Bay is off of Mikosukee, right?

That's a pretty Central location, near the NE side of town (the Eastside is best in Tallahassee.... NE is traditionally the better side, but around Southwood in the SE is also a "place to be"!)

Anyway, I toured Banyan when looking for places to live when I went to FSU for grad school. It's not a student complex, because it's a rent-subsidized apartment complex, and at least one occupant has to be a non-student. It's actually a nice complex. The apartments were a BIT small for my tastes, but nicely appointed for the money (when I looked, I think they were wanting only $600/month for a one bedroom). They have income cap restrictions, though, so if you make too much money you won't be allowed to live there.

I am quite versed in a lot of the apartment complexes in the area.... give me your price range and what you're looking for and I can help you out!

Hello,
Thanks for the information I am not trying to go over $850 per month for a 2 bedroom. I will be visiting the area this week so any other apartment complexes you can reccomed would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
