- I am returning to Tally after graduating FSU nearly a decade ago, so I am unfamiliar with recent developments in the city
- I will be working in the Midtown area
- I prefer to live south of I-10 and within Capital Circle to minimize my commute time
- I am male, unmarried, no children, still youngish (31), but I don't want to live with or near undergrads if I can help it
- I have neither the money nor interest to live in a suburb like Killearn or Southwood
- My maximum budget for rent and utilities is $1000, although I would prefer closer to $800

With these things in mind, what apartment complexes or neighborhoods would y'all recommend? Thanks!

Midtown neighborhood is a great choice, if you can find a rental.

Look at apartments along Meridian road,

Londontown apartments is an older property, but they are a excellent location, great neighborhood, and close to everything including midtown.

Start at the intersection of meridian rd, and thomasville next to lake ella and go north.. There are quite a few complexes 1-2 miles from midtown.

The Midtown area has seen a lot of improvement since your college days. I would start my search right there. There is a lot of student housing in the area, naturally, but there are also plenty of places geared more toward singles and families.

You might consider the area between Hermitage on the South, Raymond Diehl on the north, Thomasville Rd on the west, and NE Capital Circle on the east. My wife and I and our daughter lived in that area for a while, and it was very nice and quiet, and very convenient to midtown, Thomasville Rd, and Capital Circle. We lived behind Home Depot off of Windsong Drive. You might look into the Eagle's Landing apartments.
