The temperature for Tallahassee is 28 degress right now, it's colder there than in Atlanta, where it's 33 degrees.

I watch the weather from my hometown. You make me green with envy. What did it warm up to? It was 52 at 6 AM in Naples. I was thrilled to wear my heavier clothes from NY. Unfortunately, by the time I drove home the temp was 77. I hear its supposed to warm up next week to the mid 80s and mid 60s.

Guess I should enjoy it while I can.

Low 40's to high 60's today in Navarre. We have a freeze watch for the area. Actually, feels great, just another wonderful day in paradise...

It has cooled off quite a bit in north + central Florida. However, having lived in Tallahassee for four years in the 1990's I can tell you with complete certainty that the recorded low temperature for Tally is taken well outside the city limits. I lived downtown while attending college and can tell you with absolute certainty that it was 6-8 degrees warmer in the city than what the "recorded" low temp was. I had a thermometer gauge and if it got down to 40 degrees the weathermen would scare everyone and claim it got down to 33 degrees. It was such b.s. Another thing, you cannot compare Long Island to Tally. Because Florida is so far south and the sun is strong year-round it will be considerably warmer during the day than in the Northeast. It stays cold throughout the entire day up North and that just doesn't happen in Florida.

The weather seems to be in the mid to high 60's in Central Florida. Good weather, but probably won't last.

Forget winter coats here, you never need one. At most you could use a sweater or a jeans jacket or windbreaker. It drops down to about the low 40's at most, which isn't that cold.

47 degrees is 47 degrees no matter where you are.

You should see what I wore when it was 8 degrees. I am not adverse to wearing a lot of clothes.
