Hi all, I have enjoyed lurking on the forums in the past now though I think it is time for me to finally register to ask a question.

As stated I am a second year student transferring to FSU from Graceville Florida. I will have my wife and three children (8,6,3) in tow. We are looking for a nice 3 bedroom apartment that will run us less than 800 a month. We found an apartment in our price range called Banyan Bay, but we were uncertain of the area (I know NE is the best and safest to live in Tally). I am mainly concerned with safety than anything else. I looked up crime data for this area and didn't see much other than a few "disorderly conducts".

I would like any ones opinion on this area of Banyan Bay off of Miccosuke Rd and Miccosuke commons drive. I have also looked into apartments right near campus within walking distance. I'm not worried at all with the college kids or the noise, but it seems apartments around that area are quite a bit over budget, unless there is a jewel stashed away that I don't know about?

I would be greatly appreciated with any ones help and assistance on this, it would help save me and my family a lot of heartache trying to discern where is the best location having never spent much time there.

Thank you.
