Hello all,
I replace our old water heater with a whirlpool water heater. The existing hot and cold water pipes are corrugated copper pipes.
I connected the corrugated copper pipes to the nipples on the water heater. As I turned on the water, it leaked at the top of the connection where the white plastic within the corrugated copper pipe.
Would anyone show me how to mitigate this leak. please?
Thank you very much,

Did you use Teflon tape for the pipe connection? Also look to see that you screwed the pipes on straight.

Old thread I know, but if this happens to anybody else, consider first replacing that old warn out black washer or even better, if you can, cut that corrugated pipe back to a smooth spot and get a flexible hose with a female fitting on one end and a Sharkbite fitting on the other.

Pictures hopefully soon to follow.
