Would you say that Tallahassee has a 'lush' feel to the foliage?

I've never been to Tallahassee, but looking on google maps, there is a nice lush green to some of the trees, a little bit tropical. I dont know if that's always there, or the google map truck went after an exceptionally rainy day or weekend.

But, it certainly makes Tallahassee attractive!

Very lush. Lots of trees and vines. Feels very much like a tropical rain forest during most of the summer. Except for this year. We haven't been getting our normal amount of afternoon thunderstorms.
I like it, but some people have said they feel "oppressed" by so much dense greenery.

We lived in Madison for 10 years! Now we're down the road in Monticello on 10 very lush wooded acres
