If I was you I would stay in Clarksville with my housing assistance and complete my education there then move to Tallahassee. I have 5 children and I had housing assistance. I dreamed about moving because I was bored where I was. I was a student and only found slums in other towns that would accept my voucher. I completed my education in my home town where I had family then I moved. It is better to not need assistance and have a good job before you take kids across the country.

I am also a single student and mother with teens who work & we get assistance because I am disabled but trying to overcome with faith. Thank you for the direction by way of the schools you researched and I will be down there Aug 1 so would be nice to have that single mom support. My boys are 15 & almost 18. I am working on my Master's in PHA & SW next so I look forward to the move. Plus my parents are retiring nearby (closer to the Gulf) so I am excited!!
