Hey everyone , I am new to this Forum and would love some input from some Tallahassee residents. I am doing a full move to Tallahassee because I am going to FSU in the Fall for Grad. School and would like to be in a place by March 1st 15' to get acclimated to the area and whatever new job I will have before school starts. So I guess I am looking for overall advice but mainly on living situations. I haven't had to much luck so far finding information online on good places too live. I could go with a townhouse but I am thinking more toward a complex seeing as I won't know anyone in Tally and being in close proximity to others might ficilate the process of getting to know people. I read reviews online about the complexes and they are so divided it is hard to tell what is really a dump and what is actually good. I know I want a place within fairly close walking distance of FSU and it has to be clean and have a semi modern feel. Anyone advice would be greatly appreciated!

I tried trulia and I just kept getting spammed with useless e-mails. Sure they show places that are available but hard to tell if they are any good or not. Very hard searching on the Internet from such a distance. The only complex that seems to be really well received all around in Londontown. I sent them an e-mail today. I know once I get down next month and get to ask around that will help a great deal but I wanted to have at least a top 3 ready so I could sign some papers if all is well.

Have you considered using a realtor who could show you places?
