Hello,

This is the closest forum I could find to Mexico Beach. Hoping some locals can help with a few questions. We are just starting a search for properties to live part of the year in Florida.

Can you tell me about MX beach? (Just in general)

Would a small property a block or two off the beach be a good short term rental?

What months are most desirable months to rent properties out to vacationers?

Would you invest in a property in MX Beach?

Basically we are looking for something we can rent out to people from around October through May. We live in a coastal community in virginia and can rent our house out from about June through September for a good profit. I know its the hot time of year, but we would live at Mex. Beach about June through September.

Like I say , just kicking some ideas around. What do you think. Crazy Idea? Feasible idea?

Thanks in advance

Mexico Beach is near Panama City. You'd get much more renters if you purchased in Panama City Beach. Mexico Beach is nice, however, it does not rent as much as PCB. Good Luck.

Contact Zac at Hwy 98 realty. He can give you some good info. I built a gulf front house in Mex Bch 8 years ago, and the customer does great with rentals. He just started a new one in the same area.
