Hi,

We are looking to make a move. We wanted to be 15 to 20 minutes out of town in a safe area. We are looking in the low to high 400's. We wanted a home with one or two acres. Maybe even on a lake. Can you suggest any towns?

Also I have a few questions:

1. Is Tallahassee a clean vibrant city or is it run down with lots of crime. I've been all over Florida but not in Tallahassee.

2. I read Tallahassee has four seasons. What are they like?

3. Does it rain too much in the summer?

4. What is the humidity like year round?

5. What do I need to be careful of when we are looking at houses?

6. Is flooding a concern? I read that parts of Tallahassee are 200ft above sea level.

7. Is the terrain hilly with lots of trees? Is the grass soft or is it more like Bermuda grass?

Thanks

Check out Tallavanna. It’s a gated neighborhood on a pretty lake.

Yes it is a clean vibrant city.

Yes we have 4 seasons the past week it’s been in the 20’s at night and cold!

Flooding is not a concern here. It’s 18 miles from the coast and very hilly.

Humidity it is very humid year round accept when it’s winter like now.

It does rain almost every afternoon during the summer.

It’s very green with lots of trees here.

Check out lakeshore drive area for another nice area to live.

Also see Betton Hills, Midtown, Bradfordville, and Southwood.
