Southwood (my favorite) and Killearn are good areas. Also, the Betton Hills area.

jadams321- We are moving from Murfreesboro to Tallahassee soon too! We are going to concentrate on finding something in Killearn.

Are you trying to sell your house here in Middle TN? Any luck? We're certainly not having much luck and it's a beautiful house in a great neighborhood too!

I was unaware of this happening. As a former Floridian, I thought Floridians moved to Tennessee. I'm shocked.

Southwood is new and relatively nice.

The classic "good" areas of Tallahassee are, however, on the northeast side.

In reading the back to Florida thread I found that was just a trend because people wanted cheaper housing, that has all changed for some reason and lots of people are heading back to Florida from all over. Tennessee is beautiful and I love the Smokies but I sure wouldnt want to live there.

There are tons of nice places to live in Tallahassee. Evening Rose is a nice new neighborhood.. There is Southwood which others have mentioned, but its pricey. I would suggest Mid-town, its a beautiful area and close to everything.
