Still considering Tally more and more. This has been a horrible year for so many. We are now dealing with Tropical Storm/ETA coming back for the second round. :-( I absolutely hate SW Florida!

I've never sold a home while trying to find another one since being widowed. I assume I would sell my current home first, then find one up there? Are there many homes with mother-in-law quarters?

Chill Luvr I’m sure there are plenty of real estate agents that could find you something that you want.

No Spanish ? ? ? Heck Are You The Encino Man ? ? ?

Yes. This person had several accounts such as CVPFord, Gitondowntheroad and others that were all closed at the same time. I'm sure that was just coincidental though. Fear not. He's back with at least 4 new ones for our entertainment and enlightenment:

SCGAFL
Backtorenaissance
Girlsanddogs
MarysaButzke

I guess he hasn't read the TOS allowing only one username per person.

Been a resident in 3 different parts of the State since 1973 and all is fine and Dandy, more people yes, but that is everywhere in the Country, unless you are referring to Toledo ....

This is one of the friendliest threads I've seen in all of America. I was going to congratulate you all until someone mentioned immigration and it turned a bit, well... this is America in 2021, after all. We're looking to leave the northeast and return to FLA and thought south FLA was the only way to go... We'll take a good look at Tally and I appreciate the comments. Will our $1,500 to $2,000 mo, budget for a 3 bedroom apartment get us much in Tally? And while I'm posting, anybody know if there is much of a new tech startup scene -- opening in and around Tally? I noticed you are the US headquarters of BNC founded by former congressman JC Watts and Shahid Khan, owner of the JAX JAGS (not tech really, but global media.)

Yes, there is a growing startup scene here. See https://www.domistation.org and https://jimmorancollege.fsu.edu.

Yes, that budget should have you living very well, but honestly home prices are probably within reason for you. Maybe you could buy a single family house.
