I agree with Gypsychic about the last 3 in your list. I use to have to be at work at 7:30 and if I left 5 minutes one way or the other it could add time to my commute. Traffic is a little lighter around 6:30 but will be heavier on the commute home. Don't know why that is.

There are a few nice subdivisions in Citrus Park/Westchase area. Very close to expressway.

While CW is older it has a lot of character and shade trees which a lot of the newer homes do not have.

Check out TBO.com classifieds. Of course we are always here to give you our .02

The City of Tampa has quite a few pools--more than a dozen--but none of those areas are in Tampa so you'd probably have to pay a little more. I didn't know you had to pay at all until fairly recently...

I have had the same question about the Tampa area. Job potential North of Tampa at Moffitt and have bveen looking online only at houses and neighborhoods and schools. From what I see it loked like Land O'Lakes had some very good schools and is close. I have 2 young kids (7&3) and schools are biggest priority. I saw some nice homes there with the amenities were are looking for but just don't know anything about the area. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are probably going to move the first week of August or so. The other area where there is job is the Boynton Beach area but we have seemed to gravitate to the Tampa.
Thanks for any help.

I think Land O'Lakes is a good choice for you, like Lutz nearby, it has a semi-rural feel yet just outside the city, and not far from amenitie. I like the area myself. Can't tell you about the schools, though.

Thanks gypsychic. We are also looking at the Cape Coral area but I think we would rather havet the Tampa if the job comes through.
