Reminds me of a couple players named Warren Sapp (7 years), Derrick Brooks (7 years), and John Lynch (9 years)...

All remained loyal to a laughing stock franchise and won a championship..

That post makes no sense - there's no comparison with the Cavaliers and the Bucs whatsoever. The Cavalier owner had the responsibility to bring in supporting cast - they had seven seasons to help LeBron - but they expected him to bring their franchise a championship all by himself. He really got tired of it - and left.

So Kevin Garnett leaving the Timberwolves to get a championship w/ the Celtics didn't bother you as much as LeBron leaving the Cavaliers?

People say the owner had X-amount of years to bring in a supporting cast.. He brought in who he could, If adding guys like Shaq had worked out and LeBron didn't dissapear from the playoffs everyone would be praising the guy..

Sometimes trying to add talent doesn't work out and the post made PERFECT sense as all 3 of those guys had the chance to walk but didn't. They stayed loyal to their franchise and it paid off for them.

I noticed. I bought tickets on Friday a.m. - there were plenty available, then went back in on Saturday and nada. I heard that there was a long line at the St Pete Times Forum box office Saturday - so maybe St Pete Times blocked internet sales.

I think you're wishing more than what is reality. The reality is that they will dominate with players that are willing to take much less in salary to play around winners and will develop the young players without stressing them to take the mantel so fast. The Celtics aging big 3 suddenly became possibly the 3rd or 4th best team in the East.

Having three of the top ten players from the league doesn't sound like a potential fail to me either. I've never been a LBJ or Miami Heat fan, but will be very interested to see what happens. In my opinion this does nothing but improve fan interest in the NBA.

We'll see if they can keep them all happy..

LeBron won't be the only star and now DWade has to share the shotlight with two other guys..

Bosch will get the least amount of spotlight.. We'll see..
