Wow, that's quite a distance! Depending where in palm harbor, I would say anywhere from 35min to 55minute. I don't commute frequently along those lines and I could be off, specially rush hour.

It's doable, much more so than from Sarasota. I'd guess that's a 30-45 minute drive, depending on traffic. Unfortunately, it's gonna be mostly on US 19 and I hate that stop-and-go road...but it's doable.

You'll get your typical amount of suburban rush hour traffic, but it shouldn't be all that bad. US 19 sucks, but you can explore other options once you get used to the area. Belcher Road and Pinellas County Road 1 (Omaha Street in Palm Harbor, Keene Road in Clearwater, and Starkey Road in Largo) might be worthwhile alternatives as they pretty much go straight through. I've never really driven in that area during rush hour, so those streets may not be as efficient as they look.

I make that drive often. I like to go alt19-it's a beautiful drive through Dunedin along Bayshore, what a great way to start the day! The drive South in the morning isn't bad at all-but afternoon rush coming north is wicked at the Dunedin Marina turn. I go Keene(CR1) evening rush. Course the best route depends on where you live in Palm Harbor and where you are going to in Largo.

Hmmmmm....so now I'm thinking if I can stay around Seminole then that would be best option and shortest commute?? I was looking particularly at schools and schools in both Seminole and Palm Harbour seem pretty good....so perhaps Seminole is best option all round. Will get a feel for the place when I get there

Thanks all as always, for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate your help
