I am gong to try out the Apollo Meat Market. Any suggestions of what not to miss? I cook a lot of chicken, and am curious as to their prices

I was just there this past Thursday. I think you will be surprised and in a good way. They have everything imaginable. The best deals are in the bulk freezer specials but you have to order them a day in advance. There's also a 20% mark down on rotated stock.

They are probably a bit higher than Publix or Winn Dixie but less than Fresh Food Markets ~ their bacon is the best I've ever had so I would say that would be a food item not to miss

Thanksgiving turkeys sell out quickly but they do take orders for them..and the birds are very tasty ..

Enjoy
Lattie

Apollo is a very nice area. We love the area and never had problems . Stayed there for three winter seasons and looking forward a fourth. Only annoyance is the train that runs through town early in the mornings. Lots of good restuarants and parks nearby. Close to Tampa and St, Petersburg. I would love to own property in that town. No worries and enjoy your new home.

You have a lovely view of the big bend power plant. You have the smell, and the pleasure of being showered with toxic smoke from the second most polluting power plant in Florida, enjoy!

There really isn't a beach in Apollo Beach. You'll have to drive down to the beaches in Manatee County or over to the beaches in Pinellas County. There are way better places to live than Apollo Beach.

Just because I think Apollo Beach is cookie-cutter and boring as hell does not mean others won't like it.

Forget about what others think and feel about a place. All that matters is what you think and feel about it.

Well, there kind of is... I will let you find it. It's not hard.
