Yes, Sunny Days is preparing to move to FLA! ( Finally )

After 1 1/2 years of dreaming we are in the progress of moving to Florida hopefully within the next 6 months or so if not earlier.

House is for sale and has had offers.Yea!!

Rental properties are for sale and with sold one and no offers on the second one yet. Price just went down!!

With that said, we need to get our banking in order.

We are looking at the Odessa, Trinity areas as our target area.

We need to know what banks have offices around the state with ATMS etc.

I do not want a local bank with only a few offices.

We will be traveling around the state doing antiques and of course sightseeing etc. so we need to have offices in and around all areas of Florida with ATM's etc.

Any suggestions please?

We are also looking at Palm Harbor and Clermont, any suggestions on any of those areas I mentioned would be surely welcome.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Nomadicus!

Have not seen you posting in a while.

Thank you very much.

Thinking I might be able to get started with them online before I even get to Florida?

Do they have branches all over Florida?

Thanks!

I cannot believe we are thinking we can get to Florida sooner then later. A long journey and wait might come to an end soon and we are soooo excited.

I highly do NOT recommend going with Wells Fargo, by far the worst bank I've ever dealt with. I was blacklisted with chex systems because of wells fargo's incompetency. (Long story short, canceled a check with them, they failed to do that and then said I never called even though i had phone records to prove it).

I agree with Suntrust. We have been banking with them for over 5 years without any problems. I have not heard great things about Wachovia. My uncle is a banker and does not think highly of Wachovia.

Our mortage is with Wells Fargo. They are difficult to deal with. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

Wachovia is all over FL. Never a problem. Both business and personal accounts with them.

I know they aren't everywhere, but don't waste your money with these large banks. Bank with any credit union you can find nearby or a large one if there's one near you and you'll be a lot off. They'll never nickel and dime you out of all your money and actually provide you with service and not looking for ways to charge you a fee of some sort.
