If i had jobs in Tampa and SD that would pay me to have the same lifestyle and same standard of living, i would move to SD in a heartbeat. If you have a job that pays about the same and you are looking for warm weather, move to Tampa since it's a lot cheaper. According to the cost of living index for 50k salary in Tampa you should make a little over 75k in SD. Well you can cut 5k because there is a friend in SD to help you out

OK, thanks for your input. I do love San Diego & the west coast more. Being rich isn't a deciding factor for me. I'm more worried about my quality of life. I live lite, meaning I don't need material thing's to make me happy. I'm more concerned with having fun & meeting people. Plus I'm trying to get involved in sports marketing/sales or the fitness industry. Those are my two passions & I want a career I enjoy so it doesn't feel like work all the time. As American's we spend 70% of our lives working so you might as well find a career you enjoy ya know. I figure this is my shot to make it happen elsewhere in a bigger city & if it doesn't work out I can always move back (not likely). I'm extremely motivated about being successful in my professional life. I feel I owe it to myself to go for it. I don't want to live my life with regrets. The last thing I want is to be 40 & wish I would've tried. Sorry, had to vent there for a second. I encourage everyone to take a chance at there dreams. So I should just listen to my own advise.
