My Mom And Dad live there and are happy with their lovely house off Waterfall dr.
All amenities are close by,take your pick of at least 3 Walmarts, many restaurants, plenty of plazas full of shops, not much in the way of beaches close by, housing prices run the gamut from cheap to expensive.Long rush hour commute to Tampa or St Pete if you were thinking of working there.
Its like some one way back when went out into the middle of nowhere and built 50,000 single story homes.

Pasco and Hernando are the most prominent area in the state for sinkholes.

They can form any where at any time. Its the geology here. Under all FL are caverns and
the water aquifer, but anyway, in the time I've been here I've haven't heard of too many sudden
catastrophic type events. Usually somebody complaining about cracks from settlement and lousy construction work results in a claim.

From what I understand, Spring Hill was actually a neighborhood that just got too big. Though, lets be honest... Outside of Tampa, Miami, St. Pete, Clearwater, Daytona, and very few other cities throughout the state are "in the middle of nowhere."

Spring Hill is not on the scale of Tampa, Miami, St.Pete, etc. Orlando was in the middle of no where not so long ago.

Spring Hill was designed as a retirement community. It has outgrown that over the years.
