What an awesome game! How great is it to fight back and win it at the end...and to be 3-1!

Buccaneers win, Lightning won their season opener at home yesterday, and THE RAYS have tied the series. Its a great weekend to be a Tampa Bay sports fan.

I was afraid to the Rays watch game (I mean I really have a hard time watching, nerves!). I thought it was pretty much over after going down 2-0 in the series, and with the defeated way they were playing. Now a chance to win the series at the Trop, unreal.

It is a great day to be a Tampa sports fan!

Very awesome. I'll definitely be going to Lightning games if I end up moving down there!

Attendance was really good at the Lightning game. Nice to see one team have great attendance without needing to be in the Playoffs. Kind of weird actually. The one sport in the Tampa Bay area that is drawing the crowds is hockey? Must be the location

I heard in previous seasons that attendance wasn't good. I really hope Tampa retains an NHL team and they don't pull out.

Then again it could be the capacity of St.Pete Times Forum is under 20,000 and the Trop and RJ Stadium are double and triple that. Besides Raymond James is about 5 miles from the forum.

Raymond James will fill back up now for the next few games but games will be blacked out towards the end of the season again. I don't see the Bucs winning more than 6-7 games but that is better than I expected at the beginning of the season.

Attendance wasn't good last season because the team wasn't that good. But their is a large fan base for the Lightning and they have no problem filling seats when the team is playing good. I can't see them leaving.

It may be smaller than RJ and the Trop, but did you know the Forum has the 4th largest seating capacity for NHL arenas? So far this year, the Lightning are ranked 3rd in attendance.

It kind of makes sense that attendance for an ice hockey team within a climate-controlled venue in Florida would be a big ticket seller. What doesn't make sense (and never will) is that the Rays can't sell more than 50% of their capacity in a domed climate-controlled venue. If I hear the location is the issue one more time, I'm going to throw up. Almost half of the population of the metro area lives on the Pinellas side of the Bay. Moving to Tampa would be a wash if the argument is "inconvenient location". To me it's more nose-bent-out-of-joint Tampans who refuse to go to St Pete on principal. Grow up already and support one of the best franchises in MLB.
