I like Publix but I'm not a fan of Winn Dixie. Publix carries the Greenwise label and has many organic/natural products, while Winn Dixie sells a much lower quality of food IMO.

Good to know I have not been to Winn Dixie since I was a kid

Sadly, Winn Dixie has GREATLY gone downhill since their heyday. They have closed many stores, and the ones that are left look like super discount stores but with pretty high prices.

Besides Publix, Sweetbay is pretty good, they too carry a lot of organics at good prices. I shop both stores, with occasional trips to Super Target and Fresh Market.

Yes there is! Another great choice..thanks! They're all organic and stock everything from veggies to meats. They have a location in Palm Harbor also, and two in your neck of the woods (Sarasota).

I keep hoping they'll open a Greenwise concept store in Pinellas County, but guess we're not seen as "upmarket" enough.

Kyle, it's not that, I read where they don't plan to open anymore "all Greenwise" stores. At least there is one in South Tampa. I would have liked to see one here in Sarasota. I can't complain, though, I have an absolute WEALTH of places to shop. Thanks for that link, too!

I was actually thinking of this place:

http://www.messineosmarket.com/index.html

Never been there, but it looks promising.

Haha, you're right, and I've been lagging on that front. I'll do so soon.
