So I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for work. But, Just wondering if anyone knows of places to apply. I had a job but gave it up because I was going to be moving. Then my girlfriend at the time screwed me over so now I'm stuck with no job. I wish I could find a job on a boat or something, but I don't know how to get into that. I'm from Iowa and have only been here for a year so it's not like I know a whole bunch of people and have hook ups like people that have been here for a while.. anyways, I'm just looking for some type of work, anything. I gaurantee you that I'm one of the best workers this state has ever seen, just need the chance to prove myself. Thank you!!

When you say "boat", do you mean cruise ships that go to the Islands or do you mean sightseeing local boats trips? What is it you want to do on these boats? Take people out fishing?

If it is cruise ships, there are no big cruise ships that leave from Tampa, though I think there are plans for them in the near future. You could do a little research and apply with that cruise line.

Otherwise, try indeed.com, monster.com. Monster gives you recruiters connection as well as spam stuff, from my experience. Also try tbo.com.

Good luck! It is tough out there.

Annaegel, you are mistaken. Carnival Cruise lines leaves from Tampa all the time. I've seen the ship at Channelside whilst visiting the Tampa Aquarium.
