Driving from GA..... pffffft..... that's nothing. lol

I cannot imagine the feeling you had once you got to Florida.

That is so neat, thanks for sharing.

My feeling when we got to Florida and checked into the hotel was "MAN I AM HAPPY TO BE OUT OF THE CAR".

There were many other wonderful feelings, but I definitely remember that one. Then we were on the mission to find a house to rent. Life is still good.

Ha ha! I think your move from Alaska does trump Craigs move. Plus your story was a pretty entertaining read, you know with the tail light and all

It felt pretty great when I was there last week, I was having a pretty clear image of my life there with my little family. I am just counting down now. I tell my son hurry up and get out of school so we can do this already ha ha!

When I rolled into Tampa last month after 22 hours of driving nonstop with an enclosed trailer behind my Jeep I was looking at the palm trees as I drove down my street thinking "Yes, this is home"

In the 22 years I spent in Ohio I moved all over and never really felt like anywhere was home, I always knew I'd end up somewhere else.

So, when are you completing the move???

Out of Tampa and Boca which would be a better fit for us? We are both originally from big cities like NY and need that balance of things to do and a busier lifestyle than what C-bus offers us. But don't want to compromise on quality of life, we want a nice home, best neighborhood, best schools and good jobs without the hefty pricetag. Please those of you that have seen and lived in both areas HELP us make our choice!

boca because I love SFL
but did you ever move to FL?....
