Yeah- oddly enough it still hasnt veered too far off topic!

I am just killing time before checking out Ciro's Speak Easy... and I am sure I will have some drinks with some form of soda in it... Soda. Not Pop! (staying on topic)

That is because there is cola down that isle. cola is a flavor of soda originally flavored with the kola nut, but now it is artificially flavored. Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola are obviously two of the more common cola flavored sodas.

Soda is the carbonated water for which all colas, are based off of. Technically, you are all wrong, all of you, because if you order a soda you are drinking carbonated water. if you order a cola, you are getting a cola flavored soda water, if you order pop- you are getting an old man, or getting punched in the face... or "popped in the face" if you will. Joking aside Pop comes from a new manufacture between soda-water & ginger-beer, and called pop, because "pop goes the cork" when it is drawn, kind of like champange. Have you ever opened a two liter bottle of soda and heard a pop? Wait... I can answer that... no you have not.

People from the midwest are wrong... that is why they live in the midwest. they have no clue what they are doing. As Daniel Tosh says "The middle of the country is for people who gave up on their dreams".

You are welcome for that sweet @ss knowledge I just dropped on you all.

The correct Tampa answer is "Cuban".
