I was curious, is there a good ad/site other than Craigslist to find rentals such as townhomes/houses in the South Tampa area?

I have looked at rentals.com, realtor.com and TBO, any others I can check into? Thanks so much

CL is likely the best available. However, if you can (and judging by your location, you can't) the best alternative is to look for rentals by driving up-and-down sidestreets in neighborhoods you like. There are townhomes and houses for rent in the area and I often see for rent signs.

Otherwise, Craigslist is your best bet. PM me if you need any help!

Thanks, I did that last week when I was there just to get ideas of the areas I liked. I really liked South Tampa. I did notice several rental signs while driving.

You could also contact property managers in the area like Coyle Realty. A lot of private owners who can't sell in this market listed with property managers when they moved out of the city. I rented a condo in Hyde Park that way when I first moved here.

I need one of these too, but hopefully with a 1 to 2 car garage attached. I am guessing that it would probably be more than $1000/mo right?

I havent visited the areas yet but why did you think South Tampa was better than Safety Harbor? I just looked on Craigslist for rentals and I see they are much cheaper on that side of the that HWY 60 bridge, but since you actually went to both areas what didnt you like about Safety Harbor or Clearwater if you went there too?

I am assuming its because there is more to do in South Tampa? I will get a better idea when I drive through both areas.
