How are the New Year's Eve fireworks at the Busch Gardens? Is it crowded? Would it be too noisy/scary for a 3-4 year old kid? If so, are there any other places in Tampa where a smaller kid could enjoy seeing fireworks from a distance (except on tv, lol)? Thanks and Happy New Year!

We are going there.. This is the first time even though the family we are going with said it's a nice experience and lots of people if that's what you are asking. Besides my annual pass expire today so I got to use it.

I called and check what's going on. They still have running the threee Christmas shows that are good and a Guess Who band (WTH, I have no idea who they are and their name said it so, LOL) that starts at 10:30pm and firework at midnight.

I wish they have a firework at 9pm like St Pete First night does (which actually is my favourite for family and was there a couple of times). If you have never been there I strongly recommend that. Here is their web site..

First Night St. Petersburg 2011- Ring in the New Year in Downtown St. Petersburg

Oh, well we go and check Busch Gardern then.

Happy New Year.

Thank you, MeInDenudinFL!

We went to the Busch Gardens too yesterday, but not for the fireworks. We did see the shows though, and our daughter had such a wonderful time. She was in awe of the little skater We had to leave around 9.30 because she got really tired, so we ended up seeing just the occasional fireworks in the neighborhood, from our balcony.

I hope you had a wonderful time yesterday. And thank you for the link, I will keep that in mind for the next year.
